Dear AGU Members,
Since the license agreement signed by our Library and Documentation Department for the EndNote Online Reference Management System (EndNote Online, Dekstop, iPad, iPhone) that we subscribe to for 2021 will expire as of 31.12.2021, a new subscription will not be possible for 2022.
In accordance with the agreement made with the expiration of our right to use the software, our users' access to the software through our library will be stopped. All copies of the software under the ownership or control of our university will be deleted as of 31.12.2021. For this reason, you, our users, as "Abdullah Gül University license users", are required to delete all copies in their possession. In this process, detailed information and suggestions about what you, our users, should do in order to avoid any loss / disruption in your work are given below.
Upon the expiration of our subscription, the following terms will come into effect;
- Our right to use the software will expire as of 31.12.2021.
- Our university's access to the software will be stopped, and all copies of the software under the ownership or control of our university will be deleted as of 31.12.2021.
- As Abdullah Gül University license users, all our users are required to delete all copies in their possession.
Important Information and Suggestions:
1. Before uninstalling the EndNote (Online) software from your device, it is recommended to backup your Library to protect your existing records and avoid data loss. You can find detailed information on the subject from the link below.

2. Apart from EndNote software, you can use the Mendeley Institutional Edition (MIE) platform, which is another reference management tool that is open to our access within the scope of TÜBİTAK-ULAKBİM-EKUAL license agreements and which you can access via our library website.
** If you want to switch from EndNote to Mendeley, you can easily transfer the data from EndNote platform to Mendeley by exporting the data in EndNote to a file (exporting from the relevant EndNote library) by pressing the "import" button under the "file" tab in the Mendeley library and selecting the relevant file.
