AGU researchers will be able to publish in e-resources accessed within the scope of the Read & Publish agreement without paying an Article Processing Charge (APC).
Publishers that do not charge APC fees or provide APC discounts for the publications in which you will be a responsible author within the scope of the agreements made and the content of the agreements are listed below. A corporate e-mail address must be used in applications. (....@agu.edu.tr with extension)

A Read and Publish Agreement has been made with the American Chemical Society (ACS). APC fee will not be charged for your publications as a responsible author in Gold Open Access, Hybrid and Fully Open Access Journals (Article Processing Charge) within the scope of ACS Press. When completing the Journal Publication Agreement, it should be stated that your article is within the scope of the open access agreement. Our institution has the right to publish 4 articles. It has been deemed appropriate by the Library Commission of our University that the tokens can be used in journals with an impact factor of over 3 or in open access journals, provided that the impact factor is met. A Read and Publish Agreement has been made with ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) Digital Library. You will not be charged an APC fee for your publications as a corresponding author in ACM Digital Library's Hybrid, Gold Open Access journals and conference proceedings. Our institution has the right to publish unlimited articles.

A Read and Publish Agreement has been made with Cambridge University Press (Cambridge Journals Online). As a corresponding author at Cambridge University Press, you will not be charged an APC fee for publishing open access research articles in Gold Open Access (OA) and Hybrid journals. Our institution has the right to publish unlimited articles. Our institution has the right to publish unlimited articles. (The journals listed in the second tab of the list (No OA and N/A) are journals that cannot be published and will no longer be published or will switch to another publisher by the end of 2024.) A Read and Publish Agreement has been signed with IOPScience. You will not be charged an APC fee for publications you make as a corresponding author on IOPScience. In the journal list, those under the "Read" heading are the journals that are accessible to you, and those under the "Publish" heading are the journals where you can publish articles for free and unlimited. A “Read & Publish Agreement was signed with Springer Nature. There is the right to publish 2712 articles throughout Türkiye for 2025, and approval is given by TÜBİTAK EKUAL only in Q1 and Q2 journals, according to the order of article arrival.

With the pilot application launched in BMC Journals belonging to Springer Nature Publishing house, a 75% APC discount will be applied to our country. Thus, our researchers who publish in 64 BMC journals will pay only 25% of the total APC fee.

Read & Publish (Read & Publish) was made with Wiley. Articles within the scope of the agreement; WOS - Limited to Research Article, Review Article, Data Article and Rapid Pubication in Wiley-WOS/Q1 and Wiley-WOS/Q2 group journals (except Hindawi group), included in SCIE, SSCI and AHCI subject classification. It has the right to publish 1561 articles throughout Türkiye and the articles are approved by TÜBİTAK EKUAL in the order of arrival.
