AGU researchers will be able to publish in e-resources accessed within the scope of the Read & Publish agreement without paying an Article Processing Charge (APC).
Publishers that do not charge APC fees or provide APC discounts for the publications in which you will be a responsible author within the scope of the agreements made and the content of the agreements are listed below. A corporate e-mail address must be used in applications. (....@agu.edu.tr with extension)

TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM has signed a Read and Publish agreement with Cambridge University Press (Cambridge Journals Online). For open access publications of research articles in Gold Open Access (OA) and Hybrid journals as the corresponding author at Cambridge University Press, no APC fees will be charged.

TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM has signed a Read and Publish agreement with IOPScience . Corresponding Authors affiliated with our university will be able to publish an unlimited number of articles in hybrid and Gold (fully open access) journals as Open Access (OA) without paying Article Processing Fees (APC). Articles submitted from January 1, 2026 onwards are covered by the agreement.

TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM has signed a "Read & Publish" agreement with Oxford University Press (OUP).Under this agreement, our University will be able to provide access to Oxford Journals Online and benefit from an annual OAP article publication quota in Hybrid and Open Access (Full Open Access) journals in the Oxford Journals Online 2026 journal collection, in line with the criteria.

A Read and Publish agreement has been made with SAGE Premier Journals. The Sage Open Access (OA) journal package is offered within the scope of our subscription with the Sage Choice special package. This package covers 95% of Sage journals. Sage Choice journals consist of Hybrid journals in the Premier package. Gold OA journals are not covered by the agreement. Authors affiliated with our institution can publish articles in Hybrid journals within the Sage Premier journal package by paying an article processing charge (APC) of only 200 GBP, provided they are the corresponding author. A “Read & Publish Agreement was signed with Springer Nature. There is a right to publish 3094 articles throughout Turkey by 2026, and approval is given by TÜBİTAK EKUAL only for Q1 and Q2 journals, based on the order of article submission. APC support is provided to journals indexed in WoS SCI, SCIE, SSCI, and AHCI.

With the pilot application launched in BMC Journals belonging to Springer Nature Publishing house, a 75% APC discount will be applied to our country. Thus, our researchers who publish in 64 BMC journals will pay only 25% of the total APC fee. Click for detailed information |

TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM has signed a "Read & Publish" agreement with The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). As of 2026, APC support will be provided to a certain number of articles through both content access and open access (AE) article publication (Read & Publish) model. Since there is a quota for a certain number of AE articles under the "TÜBİTAK - RSC Read & Publish Agreement," TÜBİTAK has determined certain criteria for articles that will receive APC support. As part of the EKUAL conducted by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, the publication of open access (OA) articles in electronic journals belonging to Wiley Publishing will be activated on 17 February 2026 under the "Read & Publish" agreement for the 2026-2028 period, under the "TÜBİTAK Open Access Article Account". Articles accepted on or after this date will be considered for evaluation. Articles accepted prior to 17 February 2026 will not be considered under the agreement.
